While ages in these documents are notoriously inaccurate, there could also be some mistaken relationship or identity. However, Ragnhild corroborates at least the mother's name, and pairs her with the father, Poul Davidsen, whom she writes had died in 1797.

Skurdal
The name Skurdal(alt. Schurdahl, Skordal, etc, spelling varies wildly) refers to a cluster of several farms. I found three of them in the census. The one that contains Anne Larsdatter's family is spelled Schaudal in the census - most likely a mistaken transcription of the handwriting, but possibly yet another alternate spelling. Anne herself is not included. She must have been born by census time (she was christened in February), but it seems that newborns and very young infants were often left out for unknown reasons. There were 63 residents listed at this farm (large, but not unusually so); I removed some for the sake of brevity.
