Just installed this blog, this is the first post. It is a feature of Ole Larson’s Folks.net. Welcome! A few days ago, I received several pages (2 documents) from Norway National Archive. They are the sentencing records of the Høyesterret (Supreme Court!) for Anne Larsdatter’s prison term in 1841-42, during which Ole Larson was born. My friend Berit is working on translating them. The documents refer to three earlier decisions by lower courts, so more investigation is forthcoming.
