Died in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, on this date in 1859: Madison Fout Myers. Our relationship is complicated. As the son of Philip Myers’ brother Michael (of Frederick County, Maryland), Madison is our first cousin, 4 times removed. By his marriage to his cousin Harriet Myers, he joined the Pennsylvania branch of the family, so that their descendants are our cousins twice over.
