Died in Sør-Fron, Norway, on this date in 1816: 5th great-grandfather Amund Olsen Rønn. His grandson, also named Amund Olsen (Rønn, alt. Rolstadlien), was the father of Amund Amundsen Volden, who immigrated to Coon Prairie and became patriarch of the Volden clan.
