Born in Vernon County, Wisconsin, on this date in 1916: cousin Orion Gerald Sletten, son of Clarence Sletten and “Aunt Polly,” Paula Larson (m. Sletten), thus, nephew of Isaac Larson. At the time of his birth, the family lived in the Ole Larson home in Norwegian Valley.
