Hello! Fantastic website of my family lineage. I am a 6th generation Larson/Hanson – from Mari, sister of Ole Larson. I was happy to stumble across an electronic copy of the book Larson’s & Sletten’s I had been given a paper copy years ago by my father, Gerald Henry (5th) generation.
I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. So I see that Mari, Marit and Ole all emigrated to Vernon Co., WI and I see reflected that Anne Larsdatter also died there, does anyone know why Lars Paulson did not emigrate?

Lars Paulsen (alt. Paulson) died in Norway, ten years before Ole, Mari, Marit, and Anne came to America. Of my father’s eight great-grandparents, only Lars didn’t make it “across the pond.”

Absolutely awesome to see all of this history. I don’t think very many people give any thought to their family’s history, I sure didn’t until I decided to google myself. It really is cool to see where I came from and where my mother and grandmother came from. Thank you for all the time you’ve invested in this database, I can’t imagine how many hours are here.

Thank you kindly for the compliment. I’m glad to see you becoming interested at such a young age. I hope you found good information on the site. Be sure to check out the profile of my grandfather Isaac Larson, which contains a slightly scandalous factoid about your great-great-grandmother Alma Larson (m. Raiten). https://olelarsonsfolks.net/isaac-larson/
